As you may know, my brother's wedding was held on saturday. Walaupun some things could have been better, yang perfect itu hanyalah Allah dan alhamdulillah everything went well with very minor glitches. Perhaps wedding keluarga yang keempat ni adalah the best wedding kot dari segi kelancaran dan kemeriahan berkat doa dan kerjasama adik beradik dan ipar duai mostly. Terima kasih kepada semua yang membanting tulang. Terkilan sedikit sebab seorang adik yang tengah study di Leicester tak dapat nak balik but based from feedback from the pengantin, bride's family and guests, the reception was a huge success. Alhamdulillah.
This is the first wedding yang tak ada family photographer (sebab adik aka family photog tak ada sob sob). Lupa nak delegate this particular task. Tak dan nak tangkap gambar, semua macam lipas kudung buat benda2 lain. Official photos diambil oleh Hafiz Atan, so no good pics to post as yet. Saya adalah sangat penat dan sakit badan. Hajat nak gi spa hari ini terbatal sebab tak larat nak keluar rumah.
Di saat2 kepenatan, dan setelah seminggu lebih cuti dan mengabaikan ofis kerana sebok dengan wedding preparations, maka mulalah timbul perasaan2 seperti
-aku penat la kerja
-aku nak take it easy at work
-apa benda la aku terkejar2 sangat
-banyak sangat la additional responsibilities this year
-boleh tak after this nak let go all my responsibilities and live a low profile career.
Truth is I love my career and I could never be satisfied with mediocrity. But I need help at home to juggle all my responsibilities, as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, so that I can focus on all my other responsibilities at work as
- postgraduate supervisor (2 PhD, 5 Masters),
- thesis examiner (2 pending),
- paper reviewer (6 pending),
- standcomm chair (meeting pending),
- chief editor (latest society newsletter and magazine pending),
- conference chair (101 things to be sorted out before the congress this August),
- research consultant (patent search pending),
- research grant coordinator (Brain Gain documents pending),
- visiting lecturer for practical students (2 visits pending),
- module writer (module pending)
Kalau tak de help, jadi macam ni la, serabut.
Gambar serabut tak boleh tampal, tapi saya suka gambar ini which was taken a while back because I remember that it was during a time where I was calm, relaxed and on top of things both at home and at work...

Monday, 7th June
Maid baru dah sampai kat agent, hari ni kena pergi ambik dia. Patutnya dia sampai last week, dah seminggu delay. Maka bersambung lagilah cuti ku for another couple of days to train her which is sooo malang for me and all my pending assignments, aaaarrrrggghhh!!!

aaaa..enjoyed reading your blog, and how you justify your handbag choices with good proper points - simply, you are an idol to me :). btw..would like to share with you that lutfi is a friend of mine back in MARA College Banting while doing our IB diploma.
