After more than a month of continuous service since the day it was in my posession, a few days ago I finally decided it was time to let Ms Mahina Solar take some time off, relax, and let another handbag enter the bag rotation.
Get some rest girl, you deserve a break!
And wow, have I enjoyed the service! I am pleasently surprised at how deceivingly big she is.

The luscious Mahina leather is naturally slouchy.
Here Solar is stuffed with 6-7 old t-shirts to maintain her shape.
Trevi definitely fits less than Solar due to its structured shape and stiffer canvas.
The side you rarely get to see.
I am usually a small bag person.
I do not have a lot of things to bring on a daily basis and thus a small bag suits my needs and my petite frame (ceh perasan kecik).
It's definitely not overpowering me here me thinks.
The only downside of a big bag is that you really do tend to overstuff it, especially when you bring it travelling! Tanpa belas kasihan Ms Solar telah dilanyak dan direnjan sepuas hati.
I have no qualms about putting Solar on a relatively clean surface albeit the floor.
Here I had no choice since it was so heavy after being filled to the brim! I couldn't even zip it up!
Ini gara2 tak nak check in luggage :P
Tapi kalau kena penyek sangat kesian OK...sorry babe, no choice...
One good thing about the Mahina leather is that it is sooooo durable!!!
I know what I said in the past about Trevi, but I just might change my statement:
If I could only have ONE Louis Vuitton it would be MAHINA SOLAR *Muahaha.
Functional and understated yet definitely luxurious...
It is perforated to perfection.
And you definitely see less of it around!
I think it is rarer than Chanel flaps and GSTs which are all over the place nowadays.

Yes, I agree with you that mahina is a rare sight compared to Chanel flaps and GST.I saw a group of young girls carrying all sizes of flaps in Empire last week, and I feel 'duh'. I love chanel so very much, but it has somehow lost its 'exclusivity'..?!

btw for stuffing...better use yg bubble pillow tue babe...
u can ask ur SA to provide some...bring ur bag to ur nearest LV store...better kalau boley bring along the receipt skali (coz sometimes SA nie byk songeh! padahal nak mintak bubble je ;p)...n dah alang2 mintak kotak skali cakap for ease of storage...
insyaallah box slalu akan dapat...tp yg bubble pillow tue tgk SA jugak ;p

Verde, thanks for the reminder babe. Actually I have those bubble pillows in a few sizes (kitorang pernah borong one afternoon kat LV) but I'm reluctant to use for the solar. The reason I use tshirt (belajar on tpf hehe) is because i want to get into every nook and cranny for support. Kalau gune the pillows tu the edges are not supported sebab dia square kan. And I don't store my bags in their sleeper nor box sebab senang nak jengah2 ;D
Nadia, hi beb. I lagi la, x pernah consider mahina, tup2 kat kedai jatuh hati n nasib baik terbeli hehehe. It is a fab everyday bag especially if you like durable and supple leather. Goooossshhhh, the ciel is the most luscious colour bebbbbbb. Major drool. Masa I beli tu dah habis. This talk makes me crave another! :P
