I live quite near to my parents' house although I don't get to spend as much time there as I would like. Weekdays sebok, weekends pun banyak hal, nak entertain budak2 and what not, kalau singgah pun sejam dua.
Tak sangka akan membesarkan family di Bangi. Yelah, kerja UPM, Bangi is quite strategic. Kawan2 yang membesar di Bangi pun ramai yang tinggal di sini. Hesh, macam tak de tempat lain je nak duduk :) Tapi sama je kot di mana2 pun, contohnya kalau membesar di subang ke, cheras ke, ampang ke, mesti tinggal di area2 situ jugak. I guess there is something comforting about being somewhere you have known all your life.
Both my parents are from Muor (Muar hehe). Masa kecik kalau orang tanya kita orang mana, saya akan jawab saya orang muar sebab kampung di sana. Tapi sekarang dah ada family sendiri, kalau orang tanya, saya akan jawab saya orang Bangi...
Petang ini mengambil kesempatan to relax here, bermalas-malasan, bercomot-comotan whilst the hubster is still outstation...Suka tengok the small pond maturing, the koi growing and the plants looking healthy. Ni semua pun penat lelahku carik pond specialist to set up the piping and construction, arguing with Dad who thought ponds came cheap, membanting tulang korek a 10x4 foot hole to cut cost (ok, I only did about 10% ;P), pergi Sungai Buloh carik barang, supervise bibik tanam bunga, hehe. I also chose the colour which is really soothing with the green. Walaupun tak secanggih kolam orang2 lain, tetapi saya tetap suka and puas hati. Tak dapat lepak lama, sekejap pun jadilah...

Ada pond & garden need lots of effort & energy. My mom rajin gardening & my bro (dok ngan my mom) is a pond contractor/entrepreneur. Kena rajin lah jaga kolam + ikan, pokok2 lagi. Just not me :)
I suka dok tepi kolam & bagi makan ikan, tapi nak tolong jaga..hehe..sorrry.

This area is very low maintenance sebab tak banyak sangat plants. Sebab my parents pun tak ada banyak masa nak jaga. The keladi grows in the pond itself. The only thing yang nak kena buat is buang daun bila dah layu. For the pond, tukar air twice a month je, sebab fish load is low.

Hi diana, so nice of you to comment! I'm glad you like it. I don't have the luxury of space to have a pond in my own home, so itu yang I bersemangat to have one kat rumah my parents. I'm not an expert, but I do know a thing or two about fish hehe. Kalau tak de fish laaagi senang.
